World Milk Day 2018

World Milk Day is a day established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) which celebrates the important contributions of the dairy sector to sustainability, economic development, livelihoods and nutrition. This year the campaigns will recognise all those who contribute to the dairy industry from the consumers, farmers, and the organisations using to tackle famine and malnutrition.

Easter Holiday Hours of Operation

Victoria
DTS Food Assurance Operational Dept’s except GMO/Allergens will be working through the Easter public holidays with reduced staff. Client Services will be available 8am-12pm on Sat (31/3) and Mon (2/4) on 03 8371 7600 or csv@dtsfoodassurance.com.au.

Administration, Logistics, and Sales will be closed on the weekends and public holidays. Registration will be open on the public holidays and weekends until 10am.

Brisbane
DTS Food Assurance Microbiology will be working through the Easter public holidays with reduced staff. Sample Registration, Client Services and Sales will be closed on public holidays.

Sydney
DTS Food Assurance Microbiology will be working through the Easter public holidays with reduced staff. Sample Registration, Client Services and Sales will be closed on public holidays.

The NEW Perth Lab
DTS Food Assurance Microbiology will be working through the Easter public holidays with reduced staff. Sample Registration, Client Services and Sales will be closed on public holidays.

Melbourne Seeds Lab
DTS Food Assurance Seed laboratory will be closed throughout the Easter period (31/3 to 2/4).

No sample pick-up will be available on public holidays. Where overnight external couriers are used, please ensure the next day delivery will not fall on a public holiday.

Victoria

  • GMO, FACTA (Allergens), Logistics, and Sales will be closed
  • Client Services will work from 8am – 12pm

  • Sample Registration will receive samples from 6am – 12pm
  • Milk Analytical Services (MAS) will operate from 6.30am – 1.30pm
  • Microbiology will operate at reduced capacity from 7.00am – 3.00pm
  • Chemistry will operate at reduced capacity from 7.00am – 4.30pm (For emergency chem testing, please provide 24hours notice for rostering purposes)
  • Seeds Lab will operate from 8 am – 4pm

Western Australia

  • DTS Food Assurance Microbiology will be working through the public holiday with reduced staff from 9.00am – 3.00pm.
  • Sample Registration will receive samples from 9.00am – 12.00pm.
  • Client services is available on csw@dtsfoodassurance.com.au from 9.00am – 3.00pm.
  • Where overnight external couriers are used, please ensure the next day delivery will not fall on a public holiday.
